Careers: Mario & Whitney Houston
Everyone’s expecting Whitney Houston to make a comeback after years of addiction, but did anyone expect Mario’s career would be over so soon?
Mario is set to join the sixth season of Dancing With The Stars next week. The singer admits that when his manager first called him about doing the show he was reluctant.
“This is definitely a challenge, but I’ve had challenges all my life,” he said. “At the end of the day, if you dedicate yourself, there’s nothing you can’t do. This is just another way for me to express myself, and we’re going to be amazing.”
Maybe he should have stuck with his first instinct before signing up for a show full of has-beens.
A flurry of Whitney Houston fanfare is the result of the singer’s longtime mentor Clive Davis announcing that the troubled diva’s comeback is finally on the horizon.
“We’re on track for a holiday release,” he told the press.
Can’t wait.
Houston can currently be seen on the box of bargain basement hair relaxer Dark And Lovely.
