New Music: Mary J. Blige & Michael Jackson - “Just Fine”

Posted by admin - Filed under: R&B/Soul, R&B/Soul audio/video, new R&B/Soul releases - (Wednesday November 21, 2007 at 2:25 am)

new R&B soulIt’s official… Mary J. Blige’s upcoming album, Growing Pains, is dropping on Dec. 18. If you pre-order from iTunes below, you’ll instantly get the first single “Just Fine” and (on December 18) you’ll get the Digital Booklet along with a bonus track entitled “Mirror” featuring Eve.

“Just Fine” now sports a re-mix video that features Michael Jackson.

Disappointingly, it’s not a duet, it’s just video footage and material featuring MJ from over 20 years ago, sort of suggesting he’s no longer a viable artist. What’s even more scary is the decades-old footage is so good, Blige becomes filler in her own video.

Pre-order Growing Pains on iTunes

Edited Nov. 21 - 7 p.m. As our audience pointed out, the remix video is fan-generated, but for some reason our professional pr contacts for Ms. Blige (ThinkTank) are circulating it as promo. So calm down you MJ freaks, it’s not our fault we’re not tracking the latest fanmania on YouTube.

Edited Nov. 21 - 9 p.m. Regarding the “Just Fine” remix video, our pr people issued the following: “Geffen thought it was a good marketing tool for the single.” So this video is being pushed by Mary’s people over at the record label, folks. Enjoy the “official” fan remix video. Editor

Oc course he is a viabale artist
that very song reaks of Mike and
so does every other viable aritst
today - the only way to break the
mold is for Michael to come back
and re-invent - which he is just
about ready to DROP the BOMB on yall
    BRACE yourselves  So un-informed
Any Artist today will tell you of Michaels
influence on the musical industry and they
to are waiting in great anticipation ..

This is NOT an official video
A fan on You tube made it ..

Michel Jackson is the best of all time. He is innocent of everything ecxept having a big heart and wanting to help as many kids as possible. He himsef did not have real child hood and has grown up in the spotlight for whole life. But he despite hs managed to be a real human being in a cut throt biznes. Leave him alone.

I was tracking this down, and after reading these posts I recall thinking at 3 am Sunday morning, that Jimmy Skinner was dropping a track (not this one) with vocals that sounded like Michael Jackson, and it was awesome. So then I thought, “No Way, it must be Justin Timberlake”. But, now that I read this, I am thinking that maybe it was Michael Jackson, and if it was, then this track is going to Blow Up!
