To help promote their upcoming album, Face Off and its lead single “Girlfriend,” BowMarion are offering female fans a chance to win an all-inclusive, romantic get-away.

Contestants are asked to make a unique (read non-boring) 30-second video of themselves explaining why they would make the perfect girlfriend for Bow Wow and/or Omarion.

BowMarion will then choose two winners who will win a dinner date with them, plus an autographed copy of the album.

Rumors are circulating as to the level of involvement Michael Jackson will have in the upcoming 21st century reunion of the Jackson 5 which has been rumored off and on for years.

The event, which may include a tour, is scheduled to take place sometime in 2008, according to MTV; over 20 years since the last time the group last toured.

In a recent conversation with BBC, Jermaine was confident that Michael would be involved in the tour, saying, “He has to be. … He is a Jackson. He was at the meetings. Michael will be involved.”

It is unclear whether Michael will record new material with his brothers, who are allegedly in the studio. The controversial artist reportedly has been honing his next solo album for over than a year.

The siblings’ last outing was the 1984 Victory tour.

It’s official… Mary J. Blige’s upcoming album, Growing Pains, is dropping on Dec. 18. If you pre-order from iTunes below, you’ll instantly get the first single “Just Fine” and (on December 18) you’ll get the Digital Booklet along with a bonus track entitled “Mirror” featuring Eve.

“Just Fine” now sports a re-mix video that features Michael Jackson.

Disappointingly, it’s not a duet, it’s just video footage and material featuring MJ from over 20 years ago, sort of suggesting he’s no longer a viable artist. What’s even more scary is the decades-old footage is so good, Blige becomes filler in her own video.

Attention gritty rap fans: North Philly rapper Freeway drops his sophomore set today. Free At Last, the follow-up to his 2003 debut Philadelphia Freeway, sees the bearded emcee continuing to grind.

“The industry’s goin’ through changes, and it’s about a lot of bullshit right now,” Freeway said. “Since I first came out, I’ve been watching very closely. Radio, video don’t support anymore. So I’ve been floodin’ the internet w freestyles, hittin’ the streets. The blogs and the networking sites are the new streets, obviously. That’s where the fans are. They want to hear your music, and you gotta give it to them. They’ll let you know real quick what they think!”

Up-and-coming indie rap duo Blue Scholars launched their video for the single “Joe Metro” with an exclusive world premiere on MTVU today.

The single from their album Bayani is about multi-ethnic Seattle bus passengers who carry untold stories as they travel to their various destinations, and carries the album’s theme of “the voice of the people.” Check the video below and also check out more tracks at http://bluescholars.imeem.com/.
