Keyshia Cole “Just Like You” Official Tracklist

Keyshia Cole is getting ready to release the follow-up to her platinum debut The Way It Is.

Sep. 25th will see Just Like You drop as it features the No. 1 hit “Let It Go,” featuring Missy Elliot and Lil’ Kim.

The set is written entirely by Cole and boasts production by Rodney Jerkins, Bryan-Micheal Cox, Scott Storch, and more. Guest performances include Anthony Hamilton, T.I., Diddy, Young Dro, and Too Short.

New Audio: Chaka Khan – “Foolish Fool”

Keep an eye open for the latest from soul legend Chaka Khan called Funk This. Due Sep. 25, the album sees the seminal singer returning to her roots. Khan says it’s “the album I’ve been promising my fans for the past ten years,” while promising her special brand of funk which stands the test of time.

Says Khan: “It’s funk of many kinds with a wide range of different feelings. It’s soulful, soul-felt and from my soul.”

Ghostface To Headline Adult Swim’s First Nationwide Hip-hop Tour

Ghostface Killah is scheduled to headline the hip-hip phase of Adult Swim’s first nationwide concert tours. On October 1, a 12-campus hip-hop tour kicks off at the State University of New York campus in Albany, and will see the Wu Tang legend accompanied by Atlanta’s Dungeon Family veteran Witchdoctor.

Adult Swim, the Cartoon Network’s highly rated late-night programming block for young adults, will also sponsor a 12-campus heavy metal tour headlined by And You Will Know Us By the Trail of Dead.

Ghostface Killah, real name Dennis Coles and aka Tony Starks, Ironman, Ghost Deini, Pretty Toney, Wally Champ, GFK and Starky Love, last blessed us with his b-cut compilation Hidden Darts earlier this year and will drop a MF Doom collabo set in the near future.

Witchdoctor, also known as Eric Johnson, is a fixture of the Southern rap game who’s worked with fellow Dungeon Family members including OutKast and Goodie Mob. Witchdoctor’s new album, Diary of an American Witchdoctor, will drop October 23 on Adult Swim’s Williams Street record label.

New Video: Diddy – “Unforgivable” And Boyz N Da Hood – “We Ready”

One of two new videos for the week come from Diddy whose “Unforgivable” clip was recently banned from MTV (yep, the same network scheduled to feature a “reality” show pairing bisexual chicks with straight guys).

The next comes from one of the Dirty South’s newest collectives, Boyz N Da Hood. This is a web exclusive video that heads up a 3-clip web only series set to unfold over the next 2 weeks. The group’s upcoming Back Up N da Chevy is due to drop Oct. 2. Enjoy.

New Video: Wyclef Jean “Sweetest Girl (Dollar Bill)”

Check out the *official* video, or as the pr people are calling it, the “big budget” video, for Wyclef Jean’s latest track from his upcoming Carnival II: Memoirs of an Immigrant. “Sweetest Girl (Dollar Bill)” features Akon and Lil’ Wayne and has dominated the iTunes song list for a couple weeks.

Kanye West Throws Online Listening Party

Kanye WestKanye West will treat fans to a special online listening party for his upcoming Graduation that allows them to purchase the album early via iPod-compatible .mp3 download.

Starting at 12:00 AM EST on September 11, the event will take place at Roc-A-Fella Records’ website (www.rocafella.com) and allow fans to listen to the entire album live along with other fans. The party is co-sponsored by IM platform meebo.com.

New R&B/Soul Releases September: Keyshia Cole

On her upcoming album, Just Like You, Keyshia collaborates with producers such as Rodney Jerkins, Babyface, Scott Storch, and Bryan Michael Cox. The set will be available Sept. 25.

In the meantime, Cole is also in the midst of a mini tour with remaining dates in California and Washington state.

Babyface Teams With Yearwood For CMT, Preps New Album

BabyfaceKenny “Babyface” Edmonds will team up with country superstar Trisha Yearwood for an upcoming episode of popular country music magazine CMT Crossroads.

Airing Friday Sept. 21 at 9:00 p.m., ET/PT, the episode was taped before an invitation only audience in Nashville.

Babyface’s new album, Playlist, is scheduled to drop Sept. 18, and features cover versions of some of his favorite soft rock songs, including Bob Dylan’s “Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door,” and other’s from James Taylor (“Shower The People”), Eric Clapton (“Wonderful Tonight”), Bread (“Diary”), Jim Croce (“Time In A Bottle”), and Dave Loggins (“Please Come To Boston”). The multiple Grammy-winner’s set also includes two new tracks including a touching song he wrote for his kids, “Not Going Nowhere.”
