Eve drummed up some publicity for her upcoming album by getting arrested for possibly driving under the influence.

The rapper-turned-semi actress crashed a Maserati on Hollywood Boulevard early this morning around  2:45 a.m.

Although she submitted to testing to determine her blood alcohol level, test results weren’t immediately available.

Booked on misdemeanor drunken driving and out on $30,000 bail, the Philly artist is scheduled for a May 17 court date.

Eve’s first album in five years is due in August.
