News Bits: Brown To Be Buried Soon, Whitney Houston Helps Ray J Avoid Kim, & Saadiq Starts New Album

There is finally an end in sight for the body of James Brown. The Godfather of Soul’s six adult children along with his partner, Tomi Rae Hynie, have finally agreed where he will be buried.
The body of Brown can very well be buried now, as Hynie’s attorney said yesterday (Feb. 20) that the burial could happen in the “next few days.”
The legend died Christmas Day at the age of 73.

Kim Kardashian is suing Vivid Entertainment for distributing the sex tape starring her and former squeeze Ray J. A pissed Kardashian said, “I am filing legal charges against the company who is distributing this tape since it is being sold completely without my permission or consent.” Meanwhile, conflict was allegedly diffused by Ray’s current boo, Whitney Houston, who, according to TMZ.com, got him out of an all-star event before Kim confronted him.

Raphael Saadiq is beginning work on his next solo album. The yet-to-be-titled set will be released on Sony and serve as the follow-up to his self-released Ray Ray in 2004. A tour is also in the planning, but for now the former Tony! Toni! Tone! member is busy supporting Joss Stone and her upcoming set which he co-produced.
