New Music Releases: Corinne Bailey Rae, Z-Ro & Grandmaster Melle Mel

Corinne Bailey Rae releases a deluxe edition of her triple-Grammy-nominated self-titled debut today just in time for Valentine’s Day. The double-disc set includes a bonus disc featuring b-sides, covers and rarities from the U.K. artist. Purchase
Her latest single “I’d Like To” is scheduled to drop next week on February 12th. The song, a Bill Withers-esque ode to summertime in the hood, is a sweet, funky track, and in my opinion, one of the best tunes on the album. It’ll be released on 7″, CD and enhanced CD along with the video (see below) and two new tracks. There will also be an iTunes exclusive live version of the song which will eventually be seen on the upcoming DVD “Corinne Bailey Rae: Live In London & New York.” Watch the video and let us know what you think.
