Posthumous Gerald Levert Album Due In February

by admin ·

Keep your eyes peeled for the last album recorded by the late Gerald Levert, completed shortly before his unexpected Nov. 2005 death from heart failure.

Due Feb. 13, In My Songs is being described as “a classic R&B album” featuring his signature ballads testifying to the power of love.

“This album tells you where he was in his life,” said Levert’s manager, Leonard Brooks. “He was 40, 22 years in the business, and still working very hard. It’s going to be difficult putting this album out with him not here. But it doesn’t stop, and he wouldn’t have wanted it to stop.”

In related news, Levert will also be spotlighted on BET J as part of Black History Month in the music profile feature “Gerald Levert: A Celebration Of Life.” Check www.bet.com for show times and additional programming.

Michael Jackson’s Kids… Maskless!

by admin ·

Usually hidden behind elaborate masks, Michael Jackson’s three children, Prince Michael I, Paris (both seen left) and Prince Michael II (aka Blanket), were all seen in public without their disguises.

The kids, accompanied by their nanny, were at Las Vegas’ Circus Circus hotel where there are amusement park rides.

Michael Jackson, who moved to Vegas in late December, was not with the kids. Reportedly considering converting to Islam on the suggestion of his brother Jermaine, the King Of Pop is allegedly putting together a Vegas show.
