Ne-Yo, Chris Brown Starrer “Stomp The Yard” Opens For MLK Weekend

by admin ·

Don’t forget to check out the new movie “Stomp The Yard” due out today. Just in time for the long Martin Luther King Jr. weekend, the flick, starring Ne-Yo, Columbus Short, Megan Goode and Chris Brown, brings the ages old African-American collegiate tradition of step dancing (finally) to the big screen.

For all of those out of college, the step sequences should bring back great memories of frat and sorority parties. Don’t know what stepping is? Find out before you check the film.

While the trailer honestly makes it seem like the same movie as “Save The Last Dance,” “You Got Served” and countless other “bad boy makes good through dance competition” flicks, this is the first one to feature stomping.

Snoop Dogg Schools Youth In New Documentary

by admin ·

Although he’s being sued for allegedly breaching contract for a reality series, Snoop Dogg is appearing in yet another reality-based program called Bigg Snoop Dogg’s Youth Authority.

The heart-warming documentary sees Snoop tell his own story of life on the streets, gangbanging and going to prison, as he tries to keep today’s youth from pursuing a life of crime. Snoop rolls through his old hood of Long Beach talking to kids as well as some of his old homies from back in the day who share stories of their own.

The show is scheduled to air Tuesday, January 16th at 11:00pm ET/PT on Spike TV.
