New R&B And Rap Music: Mary J. Blige, Fantasia, Ghostface, And More

The past two weeks have seen some great new releases in rap/hip-hop and R&B/soul music. Just today alone we’ve gotten new stuff from some of the major names in the industry.
Mary J. Blige tops of her stellar year with the retrospective set Reflections. The album offers 11 of Mary’s best as well as 4 new songs including “We Ride” and “King and Queen” featuring John Legend.
Fantasia also dropped her self-titled sophomore set today. As we mentioned before, the album sees her team up with Missy Elliot for three tracks as well as Babyface and Big Boi (Hood Boy).
Ghostface drops More Fish which plays host to Theodore Unit, but features the hip-hop vet throughout the album. Production help comes from the same knob turners from Fishcale; MF Doom, Madlib, Pete Rock and Hi-Tek.
