Rap fans will have to wait a little longer for their mega-dose of UGK grime now that the southern rap pioneers have officially pushed back the release of their seventh album to February 27, 2007. The double set, U.G.K. Underground Kingz, was originally slated for a December 19, 2006 date.

The Houston duo of Bun B and Pimp C offers 26 new tracks on this one along with the live instrumentation that has helped make their sound legendary. Uber producers include Pimp C as well as Swizz Beatz, Scarface, Jazzy Pha and Lil Jon. Guests range from T.I., Rick Ross and Slim Thug to Sleepy Brown, Kool G Rap and Big Daddy Kane and more. The lead single, “The Game Belongs To Me,” was produced by Pimp C and will have an accompanying video released at the top of ‘07.
