Katt Williams Sprung From Jail, Releases Video Statement

Comedian Katt Williams was released today on bail after serving three days in an L.A. jail after he was detained on a weapons charge at Los Angeles International Airport.

Ironically, the jail stay temporarily put a dent in his promotional tour for The Pimp Chronicles, Part 1 DVD, but now serves as great publicity. He took his release as the perfect opportunity to tape an official video statement.

Many know Katt as “Money Mike” in Ice Cube’s “Friday After Next”, or from MTV’s “Wild N’ Out” or BET’s “Comic View”.
