Beyonce And Jay-Z Charter Extra Plane For Baggage

by admin ·

BeyonceOn a recent jaunt to South Africa, power couple Beyonce and Jay-Z were forced to charter an extra plane just to carry their baggage.

At the check-in desk in New York City the duo was told by airline staff there was not enough room on the Johannesburg-bound flight for their luggage.

According to SFGate.com, a witness said, “The trip only lasts two weeks but it looked like they were emigrating.”

The couple then chartered another plane. As one person pointed out, Aaliyah’s life would have been saved had she done the same.

Beyonce and Jay-Z recently returned from rocking West Africa as headlining acts for the inaugural Thisday Music Festival in Lagos, Nigeria, on October 7.

New Releases” Silk – Always And Forever

by admin ·

SilkGary “Big G” Glenn, Jonathan “John John” Rasboro, Tim “Timzo” Cameron and Jimmy Gates, otherwise known as Silk, return to their baby-making music ways on their seventh album, Always And Forever, an ode to classic slow jams.

The quartet’s debut release on Shanachie Entertainment drops today and features the foursome known for new-jack swing/hip-hop/R&B jams such as “Freak Me” pimping songs like Switch’s “There Will Never Be,” Michael Jackson’s “Lady In My Life,” Blue Magic’s “Sideshow” and more.

“It all comes full circle on this album,” Gary Glenn shared. “A lot of these songs were ones we were already familiar with so it was easy for us to step in and emulate people we have a lot of respect for.”

Our reviewer thinks they did a good job of presenting the tunes and it seems their fans do, too. More…

Do Hip-hop Fans Have More Sex?

by admin ·

A UK survey seems to think so.

A recent study out of London’s University of Leicester suggests fans of hip-hop music have more sex than fans of other types of music, namely country.

The psychologist conducting the testing, Adrian North, seeks to link musical tastes to behavior.

The results also say that 50 percent of both hip-hop and dance music listeners have admitted to committing a crime. In addition, the ongoing testing shows 1/4 of classical music have smoked marijuana, while 12% of opera listeners have consumed hallucinogenic mushrooms.
