New Releases” Silk - Always And Forever
Gary “Big G” Glenn, Jonathan “John John” Rasboro, Tim “Timzo” Cameron and Jimmy Gates, otherwise known as Silk, return to their baby-making music ways on their seventh album, Always And Forever, an ode to classic slow jams.
The quartet’s debut release on Shanachie Entertainment drops today and features the foursome known for new-jack swing/hip-hop/R&B jams such as “Freak Me” pimping songs like Switch’s “There Will Never Be,” Michael Jackson’s “Lady In My Life,” Blue Magic’s “Sideshow” and more.
“It all comes full circle on this album,” Gary Glenn shared. “A lot of these songs were ones we were already familiar with so it was easy for us to step in and emulate people we have a lot of respect for.”

Whom ever promoted this cd did a poor job because no one knows about it. I just happen to be listening to Launchcast Radio and saw it and searched it on line. I love silk and so do others we need to know of their actions so that we can buy their music.

I LOVE SILK. I STILL LISTEN TO ALL OF THEIR SONGS. EVEN THE VERY FIRST ONE’S. THEY ARE REALLY TALENTED, AND JOHN, TIMZO, BIG G, JIMMY, AND EVEN LIL’G ARE THE BOMB, AND NEED MORE RECOGNITION!!! S I L K 4EVER BABY!!!
