Janet Jackson Blames Michael Jackson For Weight Complex, Endorses Hillary Clinton
According to The Bosh.com, Janet Jackson, who’s struggled with her weight throughout her career, recently told a German news agency that her older brother, Michael Jackson, was responsible for giving her a weight complex.
“I was always made to feel like a fat kid by Michael. He’d say, ‘This is what your butt should look like’ and show me a picture from a magazine… He was such a happy kid, but then when he became a teenager he got issues. That’s when he became an introvert and projected all that onto me. He called me brutal names, like fat butt, and say it was meant affectionately. It really affected me.”
The veteran entertainer also said she believes Hillary Clinton should be the first female U.S. president.
Jackson’s current single, “Call Me,” captured the No. 1 spot on the R&B songs charts. Her album, 20 Y.O. is due September 26.

Michael is my favorite entertainer ever. I am amazed that Janet would blame her brother for anything since her style and career is really owed to him. Afterall, she got her start by performing with her famous brothers as the J5. Oh, that’s right! Her album drops this month. I will buy it because I like what she is doing musically, but I wonder how much positive hype she gets out of bshing big brother. Oh, and the Hillary thing is a great example of why celebrities need to stick to entertainment.

I would first like to clarify that there is nothing odd about the way Mike supposedly treated her. He was a kid like her, and sibling relationships are typical in that way. And I really don’t see the point of broadcasting it after all these years. MICHAEL WAS JUST A KID, I wouldn’t want my sibling in 30 years to state to the public some of the rivalries we’d had together. Even if he teased her, he still loved her. Young children don’t often understand that some of their statements can be hurtful. And that family was HUGE, SO SHE’S TELLING ME THAT MICHAEL WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO TEASED HER, OUT OF ALL HER 8 SIBLINGS?

I don`t she has anything agains Mike. She`s just telling stuff on him. That`s what brothers and sisters do. They pick on each other, they tell on each other…That`s bull..I don`t think she is mad at him. She know he did that because he had issues with his own body. That`s it.

Brothers and sisters say stuff to each other and about each other. It is normal and a fact of life.I am sure he didn’t mean it to be really mean.Unfortunately,us females tend to have these silly issues about weight and looks-again, fact of life and a product of our society!Let’s hope the media doesn’t take this tidbit and run with it (yeah right) like they do with anything regarding the Jackson family.

I am a child of the 80’s, so Michael will ALWAYS be the king of pop in my mind. I think he is the greatest entertainer ever despite his idiosyncrasies. Sure he teased her, they were kids but you expect me to believe that she never teased him or dished it back to him???? C’mon now, I think we are getting half the story. Like he said he had horrible acne as a teen, she may have razzed him for that-who knows. I just don’t think she’s “Little miss innocent.”

I agree that this whole thing is silly. She needs to take responsibility for herself and stop blaming Michael for childhood comments. TheAll of us have things like that in our past. It’s called being a kid. Hilary comment — I mean, come on. Just concentrate on singing.

some say he has no more talent left, but they have not heard is recent songs.

There are so many undisclosed things that happened to the Jackson family, Janet had already acquired popularity and what happened to her as a child/teenager should be respected. If indeed michael did say some funny stuff like that he should then apologise. The funny part of the whole scenario is based on the fact that, everyone was scared of michael until negative publicity surfaced.

I love MJ but if he said those things to his little sister I can hurt big, just like he was hurt by things said to him. Janet acknowledges this was probably misplaced aggression but wants fan support/understanding for her feelings. I hoped she has already discussed how she feels with Michael and he apologized (i believe he would) and I am sympathetic to her but I don’t know why she would go public with this - but Michael has also with these kind of issues - I’m sure it is a way of reaching out so people understand, hopefully, where they’re coming from. They are vunerable people like anyone. I can’t imagine how I might deal with their situation in life. Example: both needing the publicity and hating it too.

Although Micheal is talented, I think that Janet was right when she said that Michael projected everything onto her. Look at her weight struggles. It can be traced back to Michael. What if she said that he bleached his skin? Then everyone would jump on her eventhough that’s what he did. The least he could have done was apologize to her. To Janet: You are beautiful, NEVER let anyone tell you different!

janet’s hurt. maybe she should have confronted her bro about it rather than the press. anyway, my bro and i are best of friends, and he says hurtful things to me too like saying a sing horribly, and i tease him too about his dancing. isn’t it nice to have a sibling ^^!!!! those who previously left comments, should remember that this has nothing to do about entertainment or performing, don’t mix it up. janet has the right to speak out about politics or whatever too, just like u and u and u.

first off to the comment made by BUD: its called Vitiligo. there are thousands of photos of Michael Jackson with Vitiligo spots all over his body STARTING during the time he was still touring w/ his brothers SO GET THAT STRAIGHT! MICHAEL JACKSON DID NOT BLEACH HIS SKIN ON PURPOSE!
and onthe subject of what Janet is telling the media, I think its a petty publicity ploy and so is her releasing her album just a sort while after Michael realeased his Thiller 25…talk about sibling rivalry…
yea if Michael teased her when they were kids, thats not cool, but then again teasing runs in the family( Joe and the other brothers weren’t little angels to Michael either and probably not to Janet). It doesnt make it right what Michael did but I think there’s somthing more behind this whole thing than what Janet or her management wants us to belive.
I always liked Janets music and especially her choreography and style. I also felt out of the entire Jackson family, she always was SO supportive of her brother Michael and never said anything truly bad about Michael so i think this whole thing is weird…Im dissapointed in Jant for pulling the same kind of crap on Michael that Latoya did in the 80’s. Just really petty.
