Whitney Houston Finally Dumps Bobby Brown
It seems like the entire world, both online and offline, is literally rejoicing with the news that Whitney has finally kicked Bobby to the curb. We went looking online to see if anybody out there felt bad for the jilted hubby.
As previously reported, Superhead recently claimed she and ex-flame Bobby (ok who wasn’t one of her ex-flames?) have been spending time, so it’s a possibility that this might have sullied his otherwise pristine reputation…
As Gawker.com neutrally points out, Access Hollywood is running with this story, and might be one of the more reliable places to get the freshest info on the split. They say last night Whitney was hanging tough at the Ella Awards with Clive Davis and auntie Dionne Warwick, and looking a little like her old self (look at the pics). Perhaps Patii Labelle’s call for action is at the root of this dramatic change?
And while some rejoice openly, the ironic thing is Bobby’s new girlfriend, Superhead, may be working in conjunction with Whitney to get the latter’s career back on track. If this is the case then ‘head’s our new hero.
A commenter over here even pointed out Osama Bin Laden may be celebrating the news.
Well, it was fun looking for that one person who empathized with Bobby, but since we failed all we have to say is this: Hell to the yes… let’s hope she had a pre-nup.

It’s good that they’re seperated, yes. But is Bobby the sole cause of Whitney’s drug habit? The answer is “hell no!”. Bobby is a bastard, there’s no doubt. But Whitney has to accept responsibility for Whitney’s actions. Bobby has been a rather convenient scapegoat for Whitney’s inability to handle her own issues like a person should. I’m from New Jersey and grew up in the community where she’s from. Whitney’s issues stem from her trying to be free of her mother and live her own life. And upon meeting Brown who did whatever he wanted to do she was able to express that rebellious behavior and had backup - Brown. She made her bed and layed in it. Time for her to get up on her own. And think about this people… if Superhead is willing to help Whitney get back on track… Bobby can’t be all that bad. Who do you think Superhead consulted about being of assistance to Whitney prior to approaching her? It’s an infinitely small list of people who can get that close to Whitney. Only one person Whitney and Superhead have in common…

I, too, hate to bust everyone’s bubble because if people think that Bobby was Whitney’s “downfall” and the reason she got cracked out–they are in for a rude awakening. What likely happened was…Bobby was a functioning addict and Whitney was NOT. Bobby is not the reason things have gone downhill for Whitney. She is. She is responsible for her own life and the welfare of her daughter, Bobbi Christine. What’s gonna happen to Whitney is the same thing that happened when Mike Tyson split from Robin Givens, in which everything was blamed on Givins. People are going to realize that the person blamed is NOT the person responsible. Personally, I think SUPERHEAD AND BOBBY forced her hand by just putting their romance/relationship on front street so quite frankly, Whitney was forced to do what needed to finally be done. Bobby had already moved on by ALL REPORTS…he’s been actively involved with this woman, privately and PUBLICLY, so the only thing Whitney COULD do was file.
Between Bobby and Whitney, my vote is BOBBY on who is the most sane and cognitive one.

I was on You Tube last night watching an old performance by Whitney and I saw a comment that left me in stitches.Someone referred to Bobby as the Yoko Ono of our generation… lol.
Bobby is hated and blamed for the downfall of Whitney and I have to agree.Everything about Whitney changed once she took up with this man.Bobby always had issues and Whitney had none.This is a clear case of a woman just allowing a no good man to take her to the depths of hell all out of susposed love.

OK….. You try singing all those years to all those people..night after night …day after day…everybody in your face all over the world while you live in a fishbowl. Sure your making tons of money but lots of money is like too much candy, And after a while..u have to find a way to make it feel good to you too!!! Singing may look like fun..and u may enjoy listening to somebody do it?..but if its not fun to the person singing anymore …What do u do?
Most entertainers resort to drugs or just git out after their big hit…but In Whitney’s case there is NO ESCAPING HER TALENT..THE FORCE WAS JUST TOO GREAT!

I believe that Boof has just saved Houston’s life. She has given Whitney the strength to say its okay to move on. Sometimes getting attention from an admirer when you are in a bad relationship helps you wake up!!!
Seemingly this is what has happened in Houston’s case. Wether or not Osama chooses to pursue Whitney is not really the point, the point is that she is now recognizing that there really is a problem and actually taking matters into her own hands to resolve it. Whitney whatever you choose to do is your business. You have my support 100%. From one woman how knows about being in an abusive relationship to another.

I just want to say first and foremoest everyone involved has God in their lives or they would have not gotten this far. Everyone wants to be so judgemental about Bobby & Whitney well they shouldn’t. These are 2 human beings who just happen to be celebrities & we are on the outside looking in; who are we to judge & say what is right or what is wrong; or who is to blame or who is not. Whitney as long as you continue to be a strong woman you can overcome anything; & Bobby the same thing goes for you…and Superhead; well i think a name speaks for itself but anyway, keep the Lord in your lives & in your heart & remember that there is no shame in falling down; the only shame is staying down. There are people far more important involved that should be considered and that would be your children.

I know that every whitney fan is praising the news that whitney is leaving bobby, i even seen the fact that elton john has commented on the relationship. I really feel that bobby was not the problem between the couples years of addictive and very strange behaviors, although i do feel that they added to eachothers addictions by being addicted to eachother. I have had the pleasure of meeting the couple actually going out to the couples home in atlanta,ga and i can truly say that whitney is very different than the television wants you to think of her… whitney is very hood, ghetto, loud, but at the same time she is very very cool, down to earth, loving, and kind. While whitney and bobby was at eachothers throat the whole night … they ended every remark with a kiss … so i know that it is truly real love… and for anyone who celebrated the end of a covenant made before god you are not connected with god. If whitney does hold firm to her decision to divorce bobby (i dont think she will) then she have had enough … nippy is a strong woman and knows what her vows meant and she has went through the ups and downs to keep them and bobby has done so as well… although bobby smoke weed and drink like hell… he is and was not the source of whitneys problem… she will even tell you that…. its really sad that he gets the blame for her addictions as if he made her do it!!! no not right !!!
