Janet Jackson’s been raving about Jermaine Dupri and their love affair, but as always with the Jackson clan, there’s a dark side. Seems Janet’s flipped out and turned into a fat commando since dropping over 60 pounds. Even though they’re planning the wedding, girlfriend won’t even sample her own wedding cake. Now that’s sad.

But not as sad as Paris Hilton tryin’ to be a singer on her upcoming self-titled album. To aid her in her quest, she’s paid enlisted Scott Storch for production and hired, I mean won the respect of, guest rappers Jadakiss and Fat Joe.

And then there’s a silver lining in the sad. MC Hammer has embraced the internet in order to promote his new album Look3X. The former rap millionaire’s catalog just sold for $2.7 million as part of a bankruptcy settlement, but he’s not letting that stop him. He’s got pages set up at Myspace, Orkut and has his own blog. There’s also this commercial too, but, like we discovered, it’s soooo not for what you think.
