Keyshia Cole Reality Show To Hit BET
R&B bad girl Keyshia Cole will be the star of her own show on BET. Named after her blockbuster CD and scheduled to premiere on Wednesday, July 12 at 9:00 pm (EST), the six-show series will give audiences the scoop on the past and present life of the troubled singer who many say is the next Mary J. Blige. Topics include her mom’s addiction to drugs and her childhood spent in and out of foster care.
Despite criticism claiming she’s too new to deserve her own show, “Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is” should be a hit due to her growing fan base and respect in the industry. And as Jackin4beats.com points out, Cole has established herself as one of the few young R&B singers who don’t need to show ass to sell a song. Word.
