LL Cool J’s Old “Cool” Teams With 50 Cent’s New School
LL Cool J recently announced he’ll be collaborating with 50 Cent in a case of old school teaming up with new school. Fiddy’s scheduled to executive produce L’s next set, Todd Smith, Part 2: Back to Cool.
LL told MTV why he decided to work with the rapper also known as Curtis Jackson.
“It’s my last Def Jam record so I wanted to make it something special and something really unique and kinda get back to my roots a little bit,” he said. “50 reminds me a lot of the things that I used to do and the places I used to be in my life, and I think we can have a good time together.”
50 made an appearance on the remix of L’s “Freeze,” and, according to MTV, they’re in negotiations as far as how much 50 will work on the album as a rapper.
As of today, it is unclear which of the ripped rappers will have the more defined six-pack.
